New Years Inspiration

Firstly, I’d like to apologize for neglecting my blog for the past month or so. I have literally been so busy, that I’ve barely had time to check my own email. Fortunately, I finally have some time to post! My first post of 2014 is going to be a part of the 2014 Blogger Challenge put together by Gaby at Another Girly Blog.

Topic 1 of this challenge is called, New Years Inspiration, and I basically have to share something that will inspire me this new year. I’ve decided to share a quote from this book I’m currently reading called The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel. This book is basically an earlier version of The Secret by  Rhonda Byrne, which I’ve read a few times now. I know a lot of people disagree with the concepts of The Law of Attraction, but I do believe that it helps me to stay positive. Here’s the quote:

“Whatever you desire for yourself, affirm it for others, and it will help you both. We reap what we sow. If we send out thoughts of love and health, they return to us like bread cast upon the waters; but if we send out thoughts of fear, worry, jealousy, anger, hate, etc., we will reap the results in our own lives.”
― Charles F. HaanelThe Master Key System

For several reasons, 2014 has the potential to be a bit difficult for me, and I need all the positivity I can get. Therefore, I really do need to keep my negative thoughts to a minimum, and the quote above is something that I’m going to keep in mind throughout the next year.

Final Thoughts: If you’re also having a hard time staying positive, I highly recommend looking into the books that I’ve suggested in this post. Even if you just try and understand the concept of these books, that will help you immensely as well.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year! Thank you so much for visiting!

Best Wishes,

The Dance Grad
